SELF DEFENSE LADDER - MATRIX: Six (6) Levels:

1st Level AWARENESS: Common sense approach -look -approach -plan -readiness observant -cautious viewing for potential threats.

2nd Level AVOIDANCE: Walk away "don't be there" -defensive living ideal (similar to defensive driving concept).

3rd Level PRESENCE: Hard target ideal -your physical cue to the world -if you give off a confident and aware presence; you present a hard target to an attacker so they go on to another target.

4th Level VERBAL: Verbal skills -confident speech -controlling commanding tone -firm talk -or scream for help -yell for help -"No! I" Etc.

5th Level ESCAPE: Escape routes to run for safety or help (car or safe location)

6th Level FORCE: Last choice -the use of defensive/offensive -karate techniques -so be committed to survival.
